(0-1) vs J5w Asasekiryu (1-0)
Lots of slipping and sliding here with Osuna using it to his advantage and pulling down Asa.
M13e Endo
(0-1) vs M12w Sadanofuji (1-0)
Endo fought hard for this win. Sadano was so huge here and just tried to use his weight on Endo. Endo was able to turn him though and eventually put him out. This was a tough and gutting out win.
M10e Tokushoryu
(1-0) vs M11w Tochinowaka (0-1)
Toch got his head jerked some but he pushed forward and won without too many issues here.
O1e Kisenosato
(1-0) vs K1e Tochiozan (0-1)
Toch slipped everywhere and Kisen kept pushing forward to get the win.
M3e Takarafuji
(0-1) vs O2w Kotooshu (1-0)
Koto put his head in Tak's chest and won this with almost no effort.
O2e Kotoshogiku
(1-0) vs M2w Aoiyama (0-1)
Koto rushed Aoi and Aoi had nothing to give him. Koto then threw him down like nothing. Aoiyama loses the worst of any other wrestler and I have no idea how he keeps his spot.
K1w Takayasu
(0-1) vs O1w Kakuryu (1-0)
These two were slipping and falling forward the whole time here with Tak actually getting the better of Kak for most of it. Near the end though he fell forward and Kak pushed him out.
Y1e Hakuho
(1-0) vs M1w Ikioi (0-1)
Hak got a solid left hand grip early and held onto it almost the whole match before taking Iki down with it.
M1e Shohozan
(0-1) vs Y1w Harumafuji (1-0)
Shohozan got the upset here, or did he? I'm fairly sure he stepped out first but there was no decision. This was a fast and slippery match. They did tons of slaps and Haruma slipped some. Sho backed him up and Haruma went out. Big win for Shohozan here and it may be a very crucial one. Not good for Harumafuji and he may have just blew his chances of winning on the first day.
